Company Profile

Message from the CEO

The pace of change in the airport industry is rapid, and even more far reaching change may be on the way. We realise the importance of meeting and exceeding our passengers’ and business community's expectations for comprehensive services, from ground handling through customer services, at our three international airports:
  • Phnom Penh
  • Siem Reap
  • Preah Sihanouk
Every plan we make, every action we implement, is driven by the desire for quality
and is keenly focused on the following pivotal tenets:

  • Providing quality customer services to ensure a pleasant experience at our airports
  • Maintaining comprehensive security and safety for our passengers and airlines partners
  • Continuing investments in our facilities and achieving an all ISO certified airports
  • Building, nurturing and preserving a strong partnership with the business and local communities
Our commitment is underscored by the improvements we announced in the recent issue of our newsletter: instrument landing system installed at Siem Reap International Airport, as well as the installations and operations of the new CCTV system. As of today, a significant part of our programme for the construction of airport installations has been carried out, especially on terminals. And, because Cambodia’s economic growth is strong, we still have projects for the extension of the current terminal in Phnom Penh and for the construction of the new Siem Reap terminal, and these projects must adjust to traffic variations.

Despite the global economic downturn, Cambodia could come out of the situation in a better shape, particularly by widening its range of offers in tourism and its "new destination" image. We continue to enhance our airports in terms of security and safety, as well as keeping pace with the investments for our facilities. The digital ILS 420 is a high-tech tool providing landing aid under adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain, storm or fog, with the support of the aircraft’s auto-pilot system. Siem Reap International Airport is the first airport in South East Asia equipped with this new generation of ILS. The acquisition of the new CCTV system aims at adjusting with the ever evolving demand for airport security operations.

In Preah Sihanouk, a popular seaside resort in Cambodia, the airport has been reconditioned so that they reach the same capacity as the Siem Reap airport and can accommodate airplanes such as ATRs, Boeing 737, and Airbus A320. The runway was consequently extended to a length of 8,200 feet. The airport is now equipped with fire-fighting systems, the air-conditioning is installed and the terminal has been considerably extended and renovated. It can now welcome 600,000 to 700,000 passengers per year.

We are proud of our ability to adapt in a way that benefits our passengers and business partners, and look forward to more of the same in the coming years. And, have a safe and enjoyable trip to Cambodia!
