A blessing ceremony marked the commissioning of the digital ILS 420 was held on 7th April 2009 at Siem Reap International Airport. The ceremony was presided over by Senior Minister H.E. YIM Nola, Chairman of Cambodia International Airport Committee, and attended by Mr. Nicolas Deviller, SCA/CAMS CEO, officials and airlines partners. Siem Reap International Airport is the first airport in South East Asia equipped with this new generation of Instrument Landing System (ILS) to provide landing aid under adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain, storm, or fog.
